A few weeks ago I had the incredible opportunity to shoot the wedding of Chris and Rachel.  I have known Rachel for years and feel like part of their family!  I am so excited for these guys.  Chris has served our country in the Navy and for that I am indebted… enjoy this sneak peek guys.

So… I have been promising since April (embarrassing, I know) a new site and blog… I am happy to announce that without major calamity we will be debuting the new site on Wednesday November 25th!  Make sure you mark your calendars as this new site is completely custom designed from the blog up!  There will be many new features, new galleries and the best part is that my amazing wife will be taking over the blog!  It will be a feast for your eyes.  I am so tremendously excited!  Thank you all for encouraging words and emails about our work.  I will be in touch very soon!

Ok, ok, so I know this is supposed to be the debut of the new site… um… it is taking a little, long while to get everything organized.  So, in the meantime, I thought I would share a session I had with one incredible senior.  Amanda is so natural in front of the camera and she rocked some really cool style… just take a look for yourself.

Lynchburg Living

Hello All,

I am attempting to help my friends at Lynchburg Living Magazine, who  have been so gracious to me over the years of my career as a photographer.  If you are familiar with the Lynchburg area, I encourage you to vote for your favorites at the following address http://bestof.lynchburgliving.com.  Last year, we were so honored that you voted our studio second, in best overall art studio in Lynchburg.  This year, the editors at Lynchburg Living have decided to add a new category “Best local photographer.”   If you feel this an area where our studio has been beneficial to you, we encourage you to vote as you feel.  We do not see the results of these votes, so feel free to vote as you are inclined.  :) Happy Voting!

Matthew & Michelle

So it has been insanely busy around here at the studio.  Between traveling, preparing a new web site & blog, my wife getting ready to take over the blog, happiness, sadness, and editing like a beast, I am always grounded by doing what I love… and that is capturing beautiful things.  I know this is only one photo but as I quickly glanced through Matt & Michelle’s wedding images, this one particularly caught my eye.  I had asked Matt to hold Michelle’s veil over her face and this shot came as I captured her looking at him though the bend in Matt’s elbow… what a beautiful marriage.  I love these two dearly.  Blessings be upon you both and there will be numerous more to come…

ps.  this veil was worn by her mother and her aunt and was created in Italy…
